CONTINUE THE PROJECT "untap ... LOVE ... LOVE AND COLLECT"
This year the Civil Defense "Rainbow" in San Salvo involved in the project "Stapp and Collect ... love ... love" for the collection of plastic caps. This year the school is the project leader and Artistic Liceo Classico "V. Pudente "Broad, while the coordinator is always the teacher Nicola stem. The project, as well as last year, provides for the collection of plastic caps for bottles, etc.. that will be sold and the proceeds will be donated to the AIRC at a public event to be held in April 2011 at the sports hall of Vasto. The initiative is sponsored by the city of Vasto, the Province of Chieti and the Abruzzo Region. In recent months, say the leaders of the Rainbow-we have already far exceeded the amount collected throughout the past year by our association, also thanks to growing numbers of citizens participating in this small gesture to help the AIRC to raise funds and carry out an environmental action by educating young people to the proper system of waste management waste.

TODAY THE WORLD DAY OF THE VOLUNTARY
Today, Sunday, December 5th, we celebrate the world day of volunteering. Below is a brief speech by the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon.
Forty years ago, the General Assembly of the United Nations was intended to establish the voluntary program of the United Nations. Since then, tens of thousands of volunteers have contributed to our overall mission, working with a multitude of organizations, programs and agencies United Nations, and with the missions to peacekeeping and special political missions. I want to praise the commitment and dedication of these volunteers.
