We're back after almost a month of silence due largely to the work of the new headquarters of Miles Gloriosus who have committed a very long time. But now that the work is almost finished, we take the brush and especially the camera, and pick up where we had left.
As promised, after painting the cavalry Swedish Strelets, which we have already discussed in another topic, we switched to those of the Zvezda and boy the difference is definitely there.
The poses of the horses and riders and the proportions of persons have nothing to do with those pieces of Strelets (unless you would prefer to put somewhat caricatured): Also the number of pieces for each installation (usually 3 for each of them, with the exception of commands) allows, with 2 boxes of all sizes to make squads soldiers with the same pose, which, if you like the effect is remarkable.

The pieces pictured are sold as Swedish Dragoons, but apart from the colors, may well be used also for the Russians, and I think for a lot of chivalry of the period. Of course they can also be used for the Cavalry Swedish line.
I made two regiments of dragoons and a squadron of dragoons of the guard. Guidoni I am absolutely speculative because, honestly, I have no idea how they were made.

And now, enjoy the pieces!
Here we are again, after a long silence, Caused by the works we are carrying on in the new seat of Miles Gloriosus Wargame club. Now that works are almost ended, let's take again the brushes , and the camera, and let's start again from where we stopped.
As we promised, after the Swedish Drabant from Strelets, here are the Swedish Dragoons from Zvezda and, guys, what a difference! Horses and horsemen poses and proportions are really superior (at least, if you don't like the almost grotesque poses...): the number of the poses for each subject (3, apart from commands) permits to compose a full squadron with the same poses using two boxes (if you like it, it's really a great effect).
The miniatures are sold as Swedish dragoons but you can use them for Russian units too and , I deem, for a lot of cavalry of the period. Obviously They can be used for Swedish cavalry line, too.
With two boxes I put togheter ranks two full regiments of Dragoons and a squadron of Guard Dragoons. Flags are as Purely speculative, sincerely, I have no idea of \u200b\u200bTheir real colors.
And now, enjoy the miniatures!
